To access the island of Alonissos by boat, you have to reach one of the ports of Mantoudi (Kimasi), Kimi or Agios Konstantinos, either by car or by special bus service which is synchronised specifically with the boat departure and arrival times of each port. Buses depart approx. 3-4 hours before sailing time.

Kimi Port is approximately 10 kilometres east of the town of Kimi and the north east cost of Evia.
To access the island of Alonnisos by boat, you have to reach Kimi Port (155 km) by road; either by car or using the special bus service which is synchronised specifically with the boat’s departure and arrival times. The bus departs from Athens approx. 3,5 hours before sailing time, from Liosion Bus Station.

Kimasi (Mantoudi Port) is approximately 5 kilometres east and below the village of Mantoudi.
To access the island of Alonnisos by boat, you have to reach Kimasi (135 km) by road; either by car or using the special bus service which is synchronised specifically with the boat’s departure and arrival times. The bus departs from Athens approx. 3 hours before sailing time, from Liosion Bus Station.

The large port and town of Agios Konstantinos on mainland Greece looks out to Evia.
To access the island of Alonissos by boat, you have to reach the port of Agios Konstantinos (140 km, highway); either by car or by special bus service which is synchronised specifically with the boats departure and arrival times. The bus departs from Athens approx. 2,5 hours before sailing time, from Kannigos Square.

Skiathos is the closest airport to Alonissos and has regular flights from Athens and most major European airports.
From here the port of Skiathos is just a few minutes away. If you haven’t got a transfer arranged, then taxis outside the airport will be able to take you on the short journey to the port for approximately 8€. Taxis will normally stop opposites ticket offices.
From port of Skiathos, depending on the time of day, there are many choices of vessels to get to Alonissos. You should have a good choice of ferries, catamarans or hydrofoils.
We can have someone meet you at Skiathos airport and take you directly to port, give you your tickets and/or assist you in onboarding the appropriate vessel.
Travel time is ~2,5 hours by ferry, ~1,5 hours by catamaran (“Flying Cat”) or hydrofoil (“Flying Dolphin”).

Volos is a large town and port on the Greek mainland that services a number of destinations including Sporades islands and Alonissos.
From here you have boat service all year round, from large ferries to the fast and frequent catamarans and hydrofoils.
Ticket prices range from €26 and cars from €55.
Ferries take approximately 5 hours, while catamarans (“Flying Cat”) take 3 hours or even less by hydrofoils (“Flying Dolphin”).

Thessaloniki is the second largest city of Greece and with its international “Macedonia” Airport and large commercial and passenger port serves as a hub for numerous destinations in Greece, including Sporades islands.
From here you have passenger-only boat service to Alonnisos during the summer, usually fast catamarans which sail the distance in less than 5 hours.
Ticket prices around €60 (one-way) and €108 (return).
